The handwriting is remarkably similar among the three VP-44 logbooks during this period. Guessing that one person (the logbook yeoman?) filled them out, I inferred the second letter characterizing the Jul-01 flight is "F" (Gunnery) from the REMARKS column of George Hanthorn's logbook.
