Flight. After 0725, relieved 71-P-10 who attacked a submarine bearing 048, 42 miles (from Oahu?) and remained on-station for two hours. Didn"t sight submarine. Flight. At 1022, received orders to attack a submarine reported at 20-35, 159-40 by an Army plane. A large oil slick appeared after the attack.
